Introducing the new AMSOIL Arena! After many years of discussion and planning, working closely with our partners at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and nearly three years after Duluth citizens voted overwhelmingly to help fund it, our new arena is now open. We have greatly expanded opportunities to enjoy our UMD men’s and women’s hockey teams, as well as major entertainers, more conventions, larger trade shows, and other events.
The DECC provides the ideal setting for
meetings and conventions. The Duluth Entertainment Convention
Center is designed to suit every group and is barrier-free in

From 27th Avenue East to Bayfront Festival
Park this 4.2 mile pathway named the Duluth Lakewalk traces
the shore of Lake Superior, fronting the Duluth downtown area.
Along the way you can take in the beauty of Lake Superior and
the fascinating lure of a working port with foreign and domestic
vessels sailing nearby.

Aerial Lift Bridge
The Aerial Lift Bridge, one of the most
popular tourist attractions in Minnesota, was constructed in
1904-1905 as the Aerial Ferry Bridge. Before that time, Park
Point was only accessible by ferry boats and, during the winter
months, a temporary suspension bridge.

Center was created to honor and remember all those who fought

Canal Park's Lake Superior Marine Museum, drawing
more visitors than any other museum on Lake Superior. Film shows,
model ships and exhibits featuring the commercial shipping of
Lake Superior and the Duluth-Superior Harbor. Open year-round.

When you buy a ticket to the Great
Lakes Floating Maritime Museum you will be able to tour the
William A. Irvin and U.S. Coast Guard Vessel Sundew. Open daily
May-October, guided tours only.
Bayfront Festival Park has a variety
of event and activities throughout the year. In the winter months,
there is ice skating, lights and the annual Warmer by the Lake
event. In the summer enjoy an exciting array of festivals that
feature music and food.
Glensheen, the Historic Congdon Estate

Along
the shore of Lake Superior, a 7.6-acre expanse of wooded land
enfolds the 39-room Jacobean Revival mansion that is Minnesota’s
premier historic house museum. The interiors of the mansion
have endured, boasting nearly all of the same furnishings and
décor that graced the rooms when estate was completed
in 1908.
